MLM Prospecting-The 7 Key Traits You Look for in a HOT MLM Lead

August 1st, 2008

MLM Prospecting is a tough business if you do not know who you are looking for, and what they need to succeed in MLM. And it never fails — Time and time again. Over and Over. Just like clockwork. You can almost predict it.

How many times have we been talking to someone, and they sign up, and we get all excited–and we wait. And we wait. And we wait. And then we wait some more, for them to show any true interest in this business. And then we keep waiting till we get discouraged.

Sound familiar? What went wrong? How did we blow it? We spent all that time to recruit them and they don’t do SQUAT! What happened?

INFERNO Secret:

Sometimes we are more interested in recruiting someone than actually qualifying them to see if they really have a chance of success in MLM. Have you ever done that?

INFERNO Secret:

You cannot PUSH

Their is an old Saying it goes something like this ‘Figures Lie and Liars figures. While it is true that you can skew Statistics anyway you want, it is also true that with properly gathered statistics you can learn a great deal about your web site traffic if you know what to look for.

In a previous Article ‘All You Need to Know About Your Website Traffic is Contained in 5 Key Stats’ I discussed AWStats and 5 key areas related to Search Engine, Back Links and Reciprocal Links. In this article we will learn how to use a few more Statistics from AWStats.

Most Web Hosts will provide you with a Cpanel, where you can create E-mail Accounts, Upload Web Pages and check your stats. Most of the Cpanel’s are very similar if not identical to the one my Hosts uses.

In Business, Image Isn’t Everything; It’s The Only Thing!

July 31st, 2008

We have all heard this lament, but how much do we practice it. With all the relaxed rules today, do we really present ourselves in the best light. It seems all the articles I see today are about how old fashioned today’s workers find their supervisors or bosses to be in the way they dress, the policies they implement and the old fashioned ways in which they conduct their business.

I am of the belief, and will continue to believe, that the first impression I make is the lasting one. Whether it is by phone or in person, I want to present myself in the best possible light. But then again, I am from the old school, the one today’s workers are complaining about.

Let’s look at the companies that are still standing. After all the hoopla has passed, the companies that have used the fundamental principles of Business 101 are the

Three Peaks and a Dome House

July 31st, 2008

Is the Dow going to dip under 10,000 and are we looking at a dip in the stock market? A simultaneous housing market bubble burst? There are good things today on Wall Street as Oil is retreating, but doesn’t it always after a three-day weekend? Don’t they always have some great excuse for high prices on three-day weekend holidays? Yes always and some are as good as the Hurricane Katrina reason, I mean that is certainly justifiable isn’t it? Meanwhile the airline industry already in bad shape and four airlines near bankruptcy and oil supply and capacity causing high side prices is causing ripples throughout our civilization. God help the independent truck drivers? Retail also taking a hit. Mervyns is calling for the closing of 64 stores and laying off some 4800 folks, which is not too concerning as unemployment is at a record low. Will we see a 2006

Ten Things To Do When You Really, Really Hate Your Job

July 31st, 2008

1. Begin focusing on what you want instead of how much you want to escape. When you find yourself sharing the latest horror story, stop in mid-sentence and say, “What I want to have is…”

2. Create an image that describes you in your job. Are you on a riverbank with no way to get to the other side? Lost in a jungle? Poking through a thorny hedge? When you get comfortable with the image, begin visualizing a change in the obstacle. Imagine building a bridge across the river or finding a path in the forest. Don’t force the image or the change. When you’re ready it will come.

3. Think of developing skills, not serving time.
Take every course that’s offered and focus on skills that can lay a foundation for your own business or next job. Can you learn HTML or PowerPoint? Can you use some evenings, weekends and lunch hours

Stop Selling and Make More Sales

July 31st, 2008

A few months ago I spent time training some telephone sales
agents who were new to selling. They’d mainly been involved
with handling incoming calls but now their company needed
them to do some out bound sales calls. I spent two days
running a sales workshop for them and another three days
coaching them on the job.

The biggest challenge I had was trying to stop them selling.
Or at least their idea of what selling is all about.

Many people who are new to sales and also some experienced
sales people want to keep talking about their product or
service. They open the conversation with one or two general
questions which are often irrelevant to the customer and
then launch into their sales spiel.

What then happens is that the customer thinks “Oh no, I’m
being sold to” and immediately disengages the brain and
stops listening. The sales person then has limited success
as far as getting a sale is concerned.

I Always Play by the Rules and It Stinks!

July 31st, 2008

This week I coached a wonderfully lovely woman I’ll call Jill. She’s a bright woman, very compassionate and sweet. She’s at one of the corporations where I am an outside consultant/coach. This was our first meeting but within seconds I could tell she had a lot on her mind.. and her plate.

She basically has to work 12 hour days 6 days a week to be able to keep up with her job. She’s highly in demand and is spread a LOT too thin. She’s in management and so her opinion counts, but she often does the work of three people because she doesn’t want to appear to be a complainer, so she doesn’t say anything.

She’s got a few bosses over her who are very appreciative of the work she puts forth. And then there are a few who continue to heap more work on her already back breaking load.

Car Loans - Shop Around, Compare Offers, and Watch The Small Print

July 30th, 2008

Getting a loan to buy your new car is, you would probably think, straightforward. However, there are a few apparently small variations which can be actually cost you a lot of money. So, it is worthwhile checking any loan offer, including the small print, for details that may distinguish the desirability of one loan over another.

In the US, about 90% of all auto loan offers are based on simple interest. A simple interest loan means that the interest is computed only on the original principal of the loan. There are some lenders who are offering loans which are not simple interest. It is best never to agree to an auto loan that is not a simple interest loan.

Another thing to bear in mind when considering an auto loan is pre-payment penalties. If such a penalty is built into the loan contract, the lender will penalize you, by charging a fee,

1031 Exchange Tax Deferred Benefits Are Hard to Ignore

July 30th, 2008

OVERVIEW

Section 1031 in allows you to exchange “like-kind” investment properties without triggering the payment of capital gains tax. As your property assets appreciate in value you have the ability to upgrade into larger properties with greater cash flow. Section 1031 also gives you the flexibility to exchange your rental properties that have appreciated in value in hot markets, and re-invest into lesser-known areas that are expected to develop and become the next hot market in years to come. You can continuously defer these capital gains taxes as you continue to pyramid your property investment portfolio into larger and larger properties as long as you meet the 1031 Exchange Requirements.

1031 EXCHANGE BENEFITS

There are a lot of benefits to considering the use of a 1031 exchange:

TAX DEFERRED INVESTING

The ability to re-invest your entire property equity without tax erosion can significantly enhance the amount of capital that stays invested and can

7 Steps To A Job-Winning Resume

July 30th, 2008

A new resume can jump-start your career. Your network contacts may ask for a resume and some industries absolutely, positively demand a resume as the price of admission. When you begin thinking of your resume as a power source, the results can be astonishing.

1. Your resume is a sales tool. It is not a place for therapeutic self-disclosure or true confessions. Be honest but present your accomplishments in the most positive way.

2. Leave tricky questions (”Why did you have six jobs in ten years?” “Why are you applying for an entry position after you’ve been running the show?”) for the interview. Practice interview responses with a support group, friend or career coach.

3. If chronology works against you, opt for a sales pitch letter or use your network to get past the screeners. If you can’t avoid a resume, some experts will advise a functional resume. However, once you show up
